Mr. Apte, in a career spanning over 35 years, has considerable experience in various areas of management and business leadership. While in Ciba and later on in the merged entity Novartis, Mr. Apte assumed the role as a business head. Mr. Paresh S. Parasnis is the Head of Piramal Foundation, one of India’s leading foundations committed to addressing social issues through high impact solutions, thought leadership and partnerships. In his immediate prior assignment, Mr. Shah was the Managing Director of Kotak Mahindra Old Mutual Life Insurance Limited. Under his stewardship, the Company booked profits for the first time ever in 2009, joining ranks of the select first private Indian life insurers , thereby opening a new chapter in the annals of private life insurance business in India. Mr. Shah has over three decades of rich and varied experience in the Financial Services sector, several of which are with the Kotak Mahindra Group. Mr. Sudhakar Shanbhag is the Chief Investment Officer at Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance Company Limited. He has played a seminal role in ramping up the Operations function to its present scale and form, and is credited with establishing and managing a highly efficient operations backbone. He is also in charge of the claims and underwriting function Mr. Veera has over 20 years of work experience, all of which has been with the Kotak Mahindra Group. He has been with the Life Insurance business since 2007. In his immediate prior assignment, Mr. Veera was the business head for Alternate Business at Kotak Mahindra Prime Ltd. (KMPL), a function he helped set up. He also served as the Head of Operations for the Car Finance Business for KMPL and Ford Credit India, a JV between the Ford and Kotak Mahindra groups, where under his stewardship, the function was awarded the highest rating by the foremost auditing body within Ford - the General Auditor's Office (GAO) which directly reports to the President of Ford worldwide. Subhasis has been with Kotak Group for over 19 years. Ms. Kirti Patil is the Head of Information Technology at Kotak Life Insurance. She is responsible for ensuring that the company's technology strategy is aligned with its current and future business needs. Ms. Patil has been instrumental in ramping up the IT Support function to its present scale and form and in creating a strong IT infrastructure backbone for the company. Ms. Patil joined Kotak Life Insurance in 2003 and has over two decades of distinguished experience spanning IT project management, customisation & implementation, IT infrastructure management and information security. Before joining Kotak Life Insurance, she worked in the capacity of Head - IT Infrastructure at Bayer India where she was responsible for IT Infrastructure and Service Delivery for 12 group companies in India.
