As Senior Vice President and Head of Marketing at Kotak Mahindra Old Mutual Life Insurance Ltd., Ms. Elizabeth Venkataraman is responsible for brand management (through Above the Line, or ATL, initiatives), sales support (through Below the Line, or BTL, initiatives), product development and corporate communications. She is credited with the 'Faiday ka Insurance' tagline which sought to better leverage the company's core strength of investment expertise, besides, the design and development of several innovative products. Ms. Venkataraman has been with the Kotak Mahindra Group since 2004, and assumed her current responsibility at Kotak Mahindra Old Mutual Life Insurance Ltd. in 2009. In her immediate prior assignment, she headed the Marketing function at Kotak Securities, where she instrumental in conceptualising and developing Kotak Securities' much acclaimed 'Customer Contactability' Programme. Ms Venkataraman has close to two decades of professional experience spanning diverse sectors such as computer hardware, automobiles, FMCG and banking. She holds an MBA (Marketing) degree from the prestigious Narsee Monji Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
